Hogwarts logo art made by me 🙂
Hello everyone, I hope you are doing great!
During this summer, I have been (re)reading the Harry Potter series and really loving it. I also recently saw that one of my fellow blogger friend Corinne (whatcorinnedid.com) did this Harry Potter Tag and I really loved reading it! That’s why I’ve decided to do it myself, and I know a lot of you love Harry Potter too. Please make sure to go read Corinne’s post too, here.
I really hope you will like this post, please feel free to answer some of the questions in the comments, I would love to get to know some more Potterheads😊
What is your house?
I have been sorted into Hufflepuff by Pottermore. The house traits are: loyal, patient, fair, hard-working and true, which I feel suit me quite well.
What is your Patronus?
According to Pottermore, my Patronus is a black and white cat.
What is your wand?
Still according to Pottermore, my wand is made of laurel wood, has a slightly yielding flexibility, measures 12 ¼” in length and has a Phoenix feather core.
What would your Boggart be?
My Boggart would probably either be something related to death or something covered in blood. How nice haha!
What position would you play in Quidditch?
I would love to be a seeker, every other position seems way too dangerous…
Would you be a pure-blood, half-blood or muggle born?
I think I would be a half-blood, since there is only myself and my mom who really love Harry Potter. My dad hates it so he would definitely not be a wizard haha!
What job would you want to do after leaving Hogwarts?
That’s quite a hard question. Maybe open a sweets shop like Honeydukes or be a teacher at Hogwarts. Totally different, I know!
Which of the Deathly Hallows would you choose?
This one is easy, I would chose the invisibility cloak. Super useful!
Probably the Goblet of Fire, because there are a lot of things that aren’t mentioned in the movie, and it’s also where Voldemort returns so the story really takes a turn. What’s yours?
Least favorite book?
That’s hard to chose, because I love all of them. I will have to say the Order of the Phoenix (even though the book is way better than the movie), because it’s really long (more than a thousand pages). But I love all books!!
Ahhh this is even harder! I think I’ll go with the Philosopher’s stone because the actors are all super young and really adorable. And it’s just truly magical, where everything starts.
Least favorite film?
Also the Order of the Phoenix, but for different reasons than the book. Since the book is so long and super detailed, I guess it was really hard for the director to adapt it into a film. To me they didn’t put enough scenes from the book, but again the movie would last 5 hours haha…
I really love Neville Longbottom and Luna Lovegood, so it’s a tie. I love Neville because the character transformation throughout the series is really remarkable. I love Luna because she makes me dream, she has her own little universe.
Least favorite character?
I think I would have to say Lucius Malfoy. Every time he speaks, I want to slap him across the face. Sorry!
Hagrid of course!
Least favorite teacher?
Either Snape or Umbridge.
Anything you would change in the books?
I don’t think I would remove anything, all details are important in my opinion.
If you could, which movie would do re-do?
The Order of the Phoenix, for the same reasons stated at question 12.
Something you don’t like about the books?
Even though I love them all, I have to say some of them are a little hard to start, as in there is a long introduction. The main plot of the book starts quite late in my opinion, but not in every book. In the beginning of some books, there are a few repetitions, like little reminders of certains main things that happened in the previous books. But at the same time, there was probably a few years in between each book launch so I guess it makes sense. Please forgive me J.K. Rowling!
Any unpopular opinions about Harry Potter?
Not really, I’ve read a few on the internet but I don’t quite agree with them.
And that’s it, this was the Harry Potter Tag, I really hope you liked it! Please feel free to answer some of the questions below😊
Thank you so much for reading, have a great day/night and I will talk to you in my next blog post!
