Hello everyone, I hope you are doing well!
Today I am going to share my experience using the 2019 Body Pass. The Body Pass is a beauty “passport” card, which allows you to get a 50% discount on your first visit to 150 beauty locations in Switzerland, neighboring France and even one location in Marrakech (Morocco). These beauty locations include hair salons, luxury spas, nail salons, waxing or hair removal, fitness, massages,…
I love the concept of this Body Pass because it allows you to discover lots of new places without it being too expensive. You always get 50% off your first visit in each location and some places even offer you a 20% discount on your second visit. All the locations that are partners with the Body Pass are listed and presented on the Body Pass website, which you can visit here.
The Body Pass is currently sold on the official website for 85CHF (approx. 77€). You can also buy it in every FNAC store in French-speaking Switzerland. The Body Pass card is not nominative so you can gift it or share it with someone. The price quickly pays itself so it’s really profitable!
The Body Pass team kindly gifted me the 2019 Body Pass card for me to try out and share my experience with you guys. I received the Body Pass card earlier this year and since then, I have tried three different locations that I will talk about in this blog post.
I really hope you will enjoy this blog post and please let me know if you have heard of the Body Pass before in the comments😊
Location 1: Institut Osmose, Gland (VD), Switzerland

The first location is in Gland (VD) and is called Osmose. This place is a beauty salon where you can get a massage, get your nails done, get a facial, get hair removal and more. It’s a really cute place, very modern and welcoming. Morgane, who owns the salon, is really sweet and super professional. She knows how to make you feel comfortable and takes really good care of you!
I went there twice, the first time I got the 60 min “Lomi-Lomi” massage, which is originally practiced by the Polynesians of Hawaii. The movements are slow and deep and performed with the forearms to reproduce the movement of the waves, with warm coconut oil. It was actually the first time ever that I got a massage and let me tell you it was amazing (AMAZING). I always wanted to get a massage and I am so happy I went for the “Lomi-Lomi”, I was super relaxed and my skin had a nice coconut scent.
The second time I went there I got the bottom half of my legs waxed. Morgane used “warm” wax, which is torn off with strips of paper. It’s really good for finer hair, especially on the legs and arms. It leaves the skin feeling smooth and soft. The wax used is enriched with sweet almond oil for extra softness during application and removal. Despite being obviously painful, Morgane was super gentle and my legs felt super smooth afterwards! In summer I always prefer getting a wax hair removal rather than razor because that way the hair gets thinner and thinner.
Overall, I really enjoyed visiting this beauty salon and I will definitely visit again. The different services are correctly priced and Morgane is really nice. In addition to the 50% discount on your first visit, this salon offers a 20% discount on your second visit, with your Body Pass card. You can visit the salon’s website here. Really recommend!
Location 2: Le Bal des Créateurs, Geneva, Switzerland

The second location is in Geneva and is called Le Bal des Créateurs. It’s a hair salon, but there is also a day bar, an art gallery and you can also get your nails and makeup done. I actually knew this place before getting the Body Pass card, I discovered this place thanks to some fellow bloggers. Now, I always go there to get my hair cut or to refresh my balayage. All the hair dressers are super talented (you can learn more about each of them on their website here).
My hairdresser is Morgane (not the same as at the Osmose institute, just to be clear haha) and she so sweet. Her specialty is highlights and balayage, and every time I was super happy with the result, in terms of haircut and color. She is really talented and attentive to every detail. Thanks to the Body Pass, my sister got to discover this place too! And if you are a student there is a 20% discount (not with the Body Pass, just in general). Highly recommend if you need high quality hair services!
Location 3: Institut Biotonique, Nyon (VD), Switzerland

The third location I tried out was in Nyon (VD) and is called Biotonique. It is a beauty salon but you can also take yoga classes there. I didn’t know this before visiting, but Biotonique is actually a natural and organic cosmetics brand, based on herbal medicine and aromatherapy. All products are Swiss made and have natural formulations. They use their products for their services, especially for facials.
I went to this place to get my legs, armpits and bikini waxed. The beautician (unfortunately I cannot remember the lady’s name) also used warm wax, and overall was really gentle and careful. She was nice and overall, I had a nice experience despite the hair removal being painful but that’s normal unfortunately haha! The prices were really similar to the salon Osmose, which I think are correct. In general, I liked this place and would recommend it, but I preferred the Osmose beauty salon.
Overall, I am really enjoying this Body Pass card and I cannot wait to discover more places. The 50% off discount on your first visit is really great and I was surprised by the generosity of the discount. It’s a great way to discover high quality salons or spas without it being too expensive. I love the concept and I would highly recommend checking out their website for all the information you might need.
I really hope you enjoyed this post and found it helpful, please let me know if you knew the Body Pass before reading my blog post, I’d love to know!
