Hello everyone, I hope you are doing very well!
Today I wanted to talk about home decor, since I’ve never really mentioned this topic on my blog before. I really like home decor, like a lot of people I have already built my entire house on my Pinterest haha (comment if you can relate!). But today I wanted to share how I decorated my room with you all, it’s going to be most specifically about how I decorated my bedroom walls.
I really hope you will enjoy this post, please let me know in the comments how YOU decorated your room😊

If you know me personally, than you know that I love cacti and succulents. They’re so cute and quite easy to take care of, because you don’t need to water them too often (I water them about every 3 weeks). I used to have about five but unfortunately this is the last one that is still alive (don’t worry, the others lived a very happy life!). Having plants in your room just adds little touches of green here and there and they really lighten up your mood! If you aren’t very comfortable with having real plants in your room, you can buy fake ones too😊
Next up is photos and prints. For this category I have two things that I put up on my wall, the first one is this frame with strings to attach pictures. I got this from a french home decor store called “Maisons du Monde” (houses of the world in english) and I simply attached a few prints that I found on the internet along with little Polaroïd pictures that I took.
The second one is 30 pictures (all taken by me) that were printed in a Polaroïd style. I was contacted by a lovely company called Printiki and they very kindly let me print 30 square M pictures, which you can customize. You can choose a theme, “Retro” style border, thinner border or no border. You can also add captions, apply filters to your photos and choose the “border” in different colors and shapes. You can modify each print individually, which is really cool!
Their website is super easy to use and when I received the prints I was really amazed by how good the quality was. The paper is nice and solid and the pictures are printed really nicely. I am not paid to say this, these are my genuine impressions and thoughts!
After I received all the prints, I simply used some blue tack to stick them on my wall. I went for a square shape, but you can do whatever you’d like!
Next on my list are fairy lights. I really love these types of lights, they add a really nice cozy vibe to your room and you can find them in so many different colors, shapes, sizes,… I got these from Maisons du Monde again, I chose these little round ones with blue, white and grey tones. You can find the exact same ones I have here.
And last but not least we have dream catchers. I have two in my bedroom, one is quite small and the other is quite big (the one you can see on the picture above) and has a few different materials and colors that I really like. Dream catchers are quite popular in home decor, even if you believe in them or not they are super cute!
And there you go, that was how I decorated my room! I really hope you enjoyed this post about home decor, please let me know in the comments below how YOU decorated your room😊
I wish you a very nice day/night and I will talk to you in my next blog post!
