Hello there guys, I hope you are doing well!
As you guys know, Halloween is super duper close so I decided that it was appropriate to create a little halloween makeup look for you today. Since I’m not a makeup artist, I decided to go for something quite simple and easy to do. I created this look with makeup that I already had in my collection so you should be able to recreate this look too and it’s easy to take of as well😊
Are you excited?? Cause I am! So without further ado, let’s get started👻🎃

Here is everything that I used. As you can tell from my flatlay, I used normal makeup. Also, what I find super funny is that I created this Halloween skull makeup look with the Too Faced Sweet Peach palette! Who would have thought that with this adorable little palette you could create a scary look?🤣
Step 1: Base
For the base, I just used my Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless foundation in the shade 104 and my Tarte Aquacealer in the shade light. To apply both, I used my damp Real Techniques sponge. To set, I applied the Bare Minerals Bareskin translucent setting powder (which I forgot to photograph sorry).
Step 2: Cheekbones
For the skull-like face, I deepened my cheekbones using the eyeshadow called “Tempting” (number 1 on picture below) from the Sweet Peach palette. I blended it with the Zoeva Face Shape brush (110). This step is just like an extreme cheek contour. You just have to find the right place to blend the eyeshadow. To help, just suck your cheeks a little bit to make the hallow of the cheeks appear😊
Step 3: Eyes & Brows
For the eyes, I decided to go for a deep dark smokey eye. First, I applied the shade “Delectable” (of the Sweet Peach palette, number 2 on picture above) on the mobile part of my lids and on my lower lash line using the Zoeva All Over Shader (222). I wet the brush with a bit of water so that the color would be more intense, but you could also wet it with a makeup setting setting spray.
Then, I applied the shade “Talk Derby To Me” (number 3 on picture above) on the center of my lids using the Zoeva Luxe Petite Crease brush (231). I also wet this brush to make the color more intense. Then, I blended the edges to avoid any harsh lines in my crease, using a clean and dry Real Techniques base shadow brush.
To finish off the eyes, I applied the Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara.
Step 4: Nose and Mouth
For the nose and mouth, I used the Makeup For Ever Graphic Liner in black. This eyeliner is a felt tip one so it’s super precise and easy to use.
For the mouth, I simply drew lines across my lips to give the illusion of a stitched mouth.
For the nose, I looked up pictures of skulls to see how the nose looks like so I simply copied a nose from a picture. The shape is an oval with two spikes on both edges.
I really hope you enjoyed my very first Halloween makeup look😊 Also, please make sure to tag me on social media if you recreate this look (I would love if you did!) so that I can see your lovely pictures.
Thank you so much for reading and I will talk to you in my next blog post!
