How I Spend my “Me Time”

me time

Hello there everyone, I hope you are doing great! Today I decided to share how I spend my “me time” with you guys. It’s not really a pamper routine, it’s just what I like to do when I have some time to myself. I really hope you will like this post and please tell me in the comment section below how you like to spend your “me time” 🙂

Happy reading!

An Abundance of Katherines

One thing I have always loved to do during my “me time” is reading. It can be a magazine, a blog post or simply a book. One I am currently reading is this one by John Green called “An Abundance of Katherines”. Some of you may know that John Green is one of my favorite authors, he has such a cool writing style and his stories are always out of the ordinary. This book is really good so far (I have read approx. 3 quarters of it) and I highly recommend checking it out! It’s about a boy named Colin Singleton who only dated girls named Katherine (19 to be precise!), and has been dumped by them all. He is a genius and searches a way of predicting how any kind of relationship will go, according to who is the “Dumper” and who is the “Dumpee”. That’s what he likes to call “The Theorem”. It’s a really funny, original and interesting book, you have to check it out!

My Burberry

Another thing I love to do in my “me time” is having a nice bubble bath (kinda cliché, I know…). Obviously, I don’t do it a lot in summer since the weather is really hot, but I do enjoy a nice bath in winter and fall (or when it’s a really gloomy, rainy day!). One I really like is the My Burberry bathing gel, which makes the most amazing bubbles (there are a lot!) and smells like the perfume (aka smells divine). I got this bathing gel in a set that I bought, which includes the perfume and the bathing gel, you can get it here.

Ps: How cute is that mini bottle of perfume?

Dyptique Candle

The next thing I like to do during my “me time” (well, I like to do this whenever I can really) is lighting a nice candle. I makes the atmosphere a lot more cozy and makes your place smell really good. The one I am enjoying at the moment is more on the fancy side, it’s the Noisetier candle by Diptyque. This is actually my first Diptyque candle and I really love the scent. They burn really slowly and they have so many scents to choose from!

Sephora Face Masks

This is probably what I like to do the most in my “me time”, applying face masks. The ones you can never go wrong with are the Sephora Sheet masks. They have a bunch of different ones and they are really good if you have sensitive skin like mine, never had a problem with those! The ones I like the most are the Green Tea face mask (really good if you have blemishes), the Avocado face mask (really good for dry skin) and the Algae face mask (really good for purifying the skin). I also really like their Charcoal nose strip, perfect to remove impurities around your nose area.

Another face mask that I really love at the moment is the Clinique Pep Start Double Bubble purifying face mask. It’s such a fun mask to use because it bubbles on the skin super quickly! I feels really nice and leaves the skin feeling fresh and purified.

Sephora Body Butter

The last this I like to do in my “me time” moisturizing my body. In the summer, I get my legs waxed more ofter which tends to leave them feeling more dry. I like to apply some body butter or body cream on my arms and legs. I really like this one from Sephora, in the scent cotton flower. I love the smell so much and it feels really hydrating and rich without leaving your legs super greasy. It dries quickly and leaves a nice scent 🙂

So that’s it guys, I hope you liked this blog post! Please let me know in the comments what you like to do in your “me time” 😉

I wish you a very nice day/night and I will talk to you in my next post!

All the love,

The book looks like a must read 😊 I have never read any John Green books before, but what you said about this caught my attention. Where I’m from doesn’t have Sephora, but I would love to go there and experience it 😊 I have heard many YouTubers go on about Sephora 😜
