Late Afternoon Tea at La Durée in Paris

La Durée

Hello there cutie pies, I hope you are all doing great!

For today’s post, I decided to share another experience from my trip to Paris: A late afternoon tea in La Durée, the famous french tea room, known for their insanely good macaroons and other delicious pastries. If you love cute tea rooms and good pastries, then this post is for you 😉

So without further ado, let’s get started!

La Durée

Being the forth time in Paris, I had never been to the famous La Durée tea room in the Champs Elysées avenue, I know, it is quite a shame… But this time, I went! I had passed in front of it every time I visited Paris and seeing the beautiful shop window with all the colorful macaroons, it always made my mouth water. At the end of a long day, filled with shopping and lots of walking me and my family decided to try and go to the tea room. I say try because it is always crowded, especially during the day. Luckily, at that hour it was not too bad so we were able to get a table!

The inside was really cozy and nicely decorated. I love that tea room atmosphere! Since it was a little cold, we ordered some tea. There was a very big choice of teas which was really cool! Although, it makes it hard to make a choice aha… I honestly did not expect such a big selection! There was also quite a selection of pastries, I ordered a rose and raspberry flavored one (I am so sorry I cannot remember the name of it!) and it was soooooo good!

Isn’t that cream so satisfying to look at?

The prices are quite high, but I’m guessing that it’s because it’s located in the Champs Elysées and that you are also obviously paying for the name of La Durée since it got quite famous. Don’t get me wrong, the quality of the food and drinks was really good! The tea was really nice and so were the pastries. Also, when you order a tea you get a little teapot which gives you approximately 3 tea cups! It was a little expensive but it was worth it and in life, you have to treat yourself sometimes 😉

There you go! I really hope you liked this little Parisian post, don’t forget to tell me in the comments if you have ever been to the La Durée tea room or if you have ever tasted their macaroons 🙂

I am planning to shoot a spring outfit of the day but it has been quite cold here in Switzerland to the weather doesn’t really feel like spring aha… Also, it’s been raining so I did not have the occasion to shoot anything. But don’t worry, it will come soon!

I wish you a very nice day/night, and I will talk to you in my next blog post!

All the love,

Roxanne
